Due-DIligence continues in the workplace

Alliance Worldwide Investigative Group Inc., a premier nationwide corporate investigative firm specializing in background investigations as well as insurance fraud/workers compensation fraud has seen an increase in level of due-diligence exhausted by employers.

Many firms are beginning to realize that the cost of a bad hire can significantly impact the overall operating costs of an organization.

Alliance Worldwide Investigative Group CEO Mario Pecoraro was recently interviewed by Bloomberg.com concerning levels of fraud that employers are investigating in the workplace. According to Pecoraro the average cost of surveillance/investigation averages $75 per hour and employers and insurance carriers seek to investigate fraud to help their bottom lines! In addition employers are increasing their level of scrutiny in pre-employment hiring practices. Many employers from all sectors including pharmaceutical, retail, service, manufacturing, IT, staffing and more are implementing strict hiring practices and fine-tuning their background investigations process.
